Ironically, I am not only a patient advocate but now a lifelong patient. As a Registered Nurse (RN), I am obsessed with making things better for my patients and others. Ability to breathe was almost taken away from me. The Gift of Life has transformed me to live life again. I am a forever Grateful Lung Transplant recipient. With my new lease on life, I can now share my amazing journey and give back to the community. I am excited to educate others in ways to maintain good lung health.

Thankful that advances in medical technology with devices in the home-setting have kept me living independently during pre and post transplant. I am now a believer that self care is very important and not selfish.
